“First International Conference on Integrative Care for the Future” Amsterdam – March 11-12, 2011.

This first international conference on integrative care for the future will address the economic, political, regulatory, educational and professional health care landscape in a diverse group of nations. ASOI President Dr. Pablo Mountford will attend the conference as speaker.

Seventh International Conference of the Society for Integrative Oncology (SIO). The New York Academy of Medicine, New York. November 11-13, 2010.

Among the presentations of different models of Integrative Medicine Services, Dr. Pablo Mountford presented the model of Fundaleu, where he currently is Chief of Service. Dr. M. Laura Nasi, in turn, presented a pilot project, “Caring for the Caregiver”, in which a group of health care professionals and administrative personnel of Fundaleu received sessions of integrative medicine therapies. After these sessions, evaluation showed improvement of emotional exhaustion and quality of life in the group.
