First Integrative Oncology Conference for the City of Buenos Aires.

Last March 10th, the First Integrative Oncology Conference was held in the “Gobernador” Room at Alvear Hotel.
Over 30 physicians and health specialists attended the conference organized by ASOI and Mindfulness Argentina, where Dr. Pablo Mountford (ASOI) and Dr. Maria Laura Nasi (ASOI) expounded the fundamentals of ASOI and Integrative Oncology -and its incorporation into national and international health care institutions-, evidence-based therapies and disciplines comprised by this complementary medicine, and their application reported in success stories.
In turn, Inst. Clara Badino introduced the basic theory of Mindfulness practice and explained the work performed by her team in the country according to the program developed by Dr. Jon Kabat Zinn, founder of the Stress Reduction Clinic at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center.
The conference ended with a Mindfulness practice exercise led by Inst. Badino.
